Remember that kewky little song from the 80's(70's?) known as popcorn? A flow of midi and all it's glory? Well this is somewhat of an ode to that song. What can you expect? A poppy sound that's fun!

I was trying to do one of these every week but with mutek and all...I just didn't have the chance...
Here's a dirty one timer I just did on the fly, as usual. tek support Inspired from a sample found on the korg E-SX, I noodled my way through to all the settings went off. As always, here are the midi files. Drums Bass Sunday, May 28

I'm playing with my Korg EMX. 5 synths and a drum machine all in one. From this comes a series of sessions , known as teksession, where I play with pattern until I'm bored with it and stop recording. Below you will find the end product along with bpm info, and all midi parts. I hope you find the midi files useful, you may use them. Further down the road I will break each component down to its own wav file for sharing and remixing by others.
Here's the mp3 file (128 bpms) And here are the midi files. drum1 drum2 drum3 drum4 drum5 synth1 synth2-1 synth2-2 synth3 synth4 synth5 ps...the midi files did not export the way I intended. In the next installment, I will have the proper midi files broken into seperate loops and generate an audio version of the midi loop. |
